Lorcan Vallely, born 1979, is an Irish Artist specialising mainly in figurative and portrait art in the media of charcoal and oil on canvas. He has been working full time as an artist since graduating from Chelsea College of Art, London in 2004 and his work is held in many public and private collections including the OPW Irish State Art Collection and the Arts Council NI Collection, and has received numerous Individual Artist Awards from Arts Council NI. Vallely has exhibited in London, Glasgow, and throughout Ireland and has had work selected for both the Royal Hibernian Academy and Royal Scottish Academy and has received many prominent portrait commissions.
